Health is a measure of how much damage a character can take. A certain quantity of maximum health is given by the character's job class, and usually increases by one every time the character levels up. It can also be increased by certain consumable items such as Raw Meat, or artifacts such as the White Cloak. Temporary health increases can be granted by consumables such as Mulled Wine.

Health is primarily reduced by taking damage from enemy attacks. Once damage has been taken, health can be restored by consumable items such as Potions, healing from a Cleric, or resting in a bedroll. Health is also fully restored when a character returns to the Hall between quests.
