Heroica-mage

Mage is one of the six basic job classes available to the players of Heroica RPG from the beginning.

These robed mystics are well versed in the dangerous art of magic.

  • Base Health: 5 (+1 per level up)
  • Base Ether: 5 (+1 per level up)
  • Weapons: Mages are physically weak, so they can only wield light weapons like wands, staves, broomsticks and daggers. They can also use elemental gems and scrolls to cast spells.
  • Job Trait: Spellcasting – Mages can use their magical powers to remove obstacles from their path even outside battles, but doing this depletes 1 ether.
  • Battle Style: Elemental – Mages wield the power of the elements to cause more damage.
  1. SHIELD: Magic Burst – The mage’s magical power overflows, causing damage to all opponents with the chosen element at the cost of 1 ether per damaged target. (e.g. WP 3 + Level 2 = 5 elemental damage to all enemies) If no element was chosen, it is randomly chosen from the gems available to the mage. If all ether is depleted, nothing happens.
  2. CRITICAL HIT/GREAT SPELL: The mage attacks or spends 1 ether to cast an elemental spell with strength equal to two times their weapon power added to their level. (e.g. WP 3 x 2 + Level 2 = 8 (elemental) damage)
  3. HIT/SPELL: The mage attacks or spends 1 ether to cast an elemental spell with strength equal to their weapon power added to their level. (e.g. WP 3 + Level 2 = 5 (elemental) damage)
  4. MISS: Nothing happens, unless the mage was casting a spell, in which case they lose 1 ether.
  5. DAMAGE: The mage is struck by the opponent’s attack.
  6. SPECIAL DAMAGE: The mage is struck by the opponent’s special skill.
