Mystic Knight is one of the fifteen advanced job classes available to the players of Heroica RPG after they reach level 15. It is available only to original knights and mages, and combines the powers of those two.

These fantastic warrior mages rely on fate to carve their paths.

  • Additional Health: +7
  • Additional Ether: +1 (For knights +1 per level)
  • Weapons: Mystic Knights can wield anything suitable for a knight or a mage.
  • Job Traits: Diplomacy (see Knight), Spellcasting (see Mage)
  • Battle Style: Enchanted – Mystic knights enhance their weapons with magic.
  1. SHIELD: Spellblade Spin – The mystic knight strikes the enemy party from two to twelve times, decided by two additional die rolls, with strength equal to their weapon power added to their level (e.g. WP 10 + Level 15 = 25 damage per hit, 2-12 hits) The strikes are divided as equally as possible among the opponents, starting from the targeted enemy and moving down the list. Optionally, the mystic knight can spend 1 ether to give their weapon a temporary element from one gem of their choice for the duration of this strike.
  2. CRITICAL HIT/GREAT SPELL: The mystic knight attacks or spends 1 ether to cast an elemental spell with strength equal to two times their weapon power added to their level. (e.g. WP 10 x 2 + Level 15 = 35 (elemental) damage)
  3. HIT/SPELL: The mystic knight attacks or spends 1 ether to cast an elemental spell with strength equal to their weapon power added to their level. (e.g. WP 10 + Level 15 = 25 (elemental) damage)
  4. ENCHANTMENT: The mystic knight spends ether to enhance on either their weapon or their shield, permanently increasing the chosen piece of equipment’s power by one. The ether cost is equal to the power of the weapon or shield after the enchantment. If there is not enough ether, nothing happens instead.
  5. DEFLECTED DAMAGE: The mystic knight is struck by the opponent’s attack. The power of the mystic knight’s shield decreases the effect of the attack and has a 1/6 chance of blocking the attack completely.
  6. SPECIAL DAMAGE: The mystic knight is struck by the opponent’s special skill.
