Story:[]

The heroes are called upon to investigate the false accusations regarding a murder of a gnome by an imp in Zylstra. The imps are facing a grim destiny if the heroes can't get to the truth. Greeted my the gnome Moke they are escorted to the queen of the imps: Nahzka. She presents the heroes with a background to the Imps culture and history and helps them get started with the investigation. The murder victim was a gnome named Maggie living in a room above the shop "Shelby's Scavenged Specialities".

The heroes splits up, half of them investigating the scene and interrogating the gnome Shelby and half of them interrogating the Baron, leader of the gnomes in Zylstra. It is soon clear that the shadowy advisor of the Baron called simply "The Cardinal" is the leader of the Crimson Crown, an organisation that has sworn to eradicate magic and its users. Finding evidence that the imps couldn't possible be behind the murder the heroes investigated "the drill place" where they encountered direwolves. Defeating the direwolves the heroes discovered that the drill site was in fact a mine with a rich deposit of Etherium. Taking a sample back to the imps the heroes concluded that the Crimson Crown lay behind the murder of Maggie, who probably caught wind of their secret mining operations. A final fight with the Cardinal and her lackeys set fire to the city, killing the imp Sigil in the process.
