Heroica-shaman

Shaman is one of the fifteen advanced job classes available to the players of Heroica RPG after they reach level 15. It is available only to original barbarians and clerics, and combines the physical and healing powers of those two.

These savage medics know the secret powers of blood and bones.

  • Additional Health: +9
  • Additional Ether: +1 (For barbarians +1 per level)
  • Weapons: Shamans can wield anything suitable for a barbarian or a cleric.
  • Job Traits: Natural Respite (see Barbarian), Healing (see Cleric)
  • Battle Style: Bloodied – Shamans use blood magic for healing.
  1. SHIELD: Blood Ritual – The shaman performs a rite that heals all allies to full health by transferring health from the enemy with most health at the cost of 1 ether. The transferred health is equal to the amount of health each ally has lost in total, ignoring any defense or distance the enemy might have.
  2. EXTRA CRITICAL HIT/HEAL MUCH MORE: The shaman attacks the target with strength equal to three times their weapon power added to their level. Instead of attacking, the shaman can spend 1 ether to restore health to themselves or one of their allies equal to the power of their extra critical attack. (e.g. WP 10 x 3 + Level 15 = 45 damage or restore 45 health)
  3. HIT/HEAL: The shaman attacks the target with strength equal to their weapon power added to their level. Instead of attacking, the shaman can spend 1 ether to restore health to themselves or one of their allies equal to the power of their attack. (e.g. WP 10 + Level 15 = 25 damage or restore 25 health)
  4. MEDITATE/HEAL LESS: The shaman concentrates to regain 1 ether. Instead of meditating, the shaman can spend 1 ether to restore health to themselves or one of their allies equal to their level.
  5. DAMAGE/NO HEALING: The shaman is struck by the opponent’s attack. Optionally, any attempt of healing fails.
  6. SPECIAL GUARD/NO HEALING: The shaman is struck by the opponent’s special skill, but has a 1/2 chance to be protected from any negative effects caused by it. Optionally, any attempt of healing fails.
