The Court of Demons is a group of individuals obsessed with gaining power through the use of magical deals. They owe allegiance to no one but themselves.
History[]
The Court of Demons officially began when the Court Magician found the other members and brought them to the Master of Regret, residing in a temple below Eubric. There they struck a deal to gain immense power by swallowing the souls of various deceased persons and fragments of arch-demons. The souls overwhelmed most members of the Court, shattering their old identities and giving birth to new unstable ones. The Court shortly thereafter set up camp in a small abandoned cave outside Eubric, which once housed a temple. Enchantments were placed on it so that only members of the Court would be able to find it.
Shortly after their founding, the Court of Demons served as a rival to Wren as she attempted to gain access to the Temple of Zoot under Eubric. While Wren was able to ascertain the location of many of the spires belonging to the Temple, only the Court knew of it's entrance. Wren was able to capture a member of the court (Zee) and exchange her for the location of the Temple's entrance. After the exchange, four of the five founding members were killed by the heroes and their allies, with only the Fool escaping.
The Court was later re-instated in the Wastelands of Baltarok. Zane, the surviving member, collected three new members to himself as they searched for the Fountain of Youth.
